David & Charles Donate £500 to Community Shed

Exeter-based publisher David & Charles has generously donated £500 to support Moretonhampstead Community Shed, one of the many community projects run by the organisation Wellmoor. This donation will directly fund wellbeing and creative activities at the Shed, helping local people develop new skills, connect with their community, and promote sustainable living.

Wellmoor (part of Moretonhampstead Development Trust) is a registered charity working across North-East Dartmoor to improve health and wellbeing. The Community Shed provides a welcoming space where residents can come together to learn, share, and create, focusing on hands-on crafts and environmentally friendly practices.

“We’re thrilled to receive this support from David & Charles,” said Camilla, Coordinator at Wellmoor. “This donation will go directly to the Community Shed, allowing us to expand workshops, buy materials, and create more opportunities for local people to engage in positive, creative activities that boost wellbeing.”
