Give your Child a Healthy Start 

If you are pregnant or have children under the age of four and are in receipt of Universal Credit, then Healthy Start is a means tested benefit which could help you.

At Wellmoor, we can advise families on what you may be entitled to, as well as help you apply online. You could get support to buy: 

• Plain cow’s milk 

• Fresh, frozen or tinned fruit and vegetables 

• Fresh, dried and tinned pulses 

• Instant formula milk 

• Free Healthy Start vitamins

If your application is successful, you’ll be able to use your Healthy Start card in places such as supermarkets, convenience shops, pharmacies, and even at the Moretonhampstead Food Club.
