Bumps and Beyond

A friendly and welcoming local drop in playgroup for anyone with babies and toddlers. Held at the Parish Hall in Moretonhampstead on Tuesdays from 9.30am – 11.30am (during term time). Contribution of £2 towards the cost of hiring the hall and refreshments.

The group also has baby weighing scales that are free to use under 'Devon Public Health Nursing's - Self-Weighing Baby Scheme'. It is free to attend and use the scales with the option of then paying £2 and staying for playgroup.

Moretonhampstead Community Allotment

Moretonhampstead's community allotment was started with local GPs, who wanted to be able to 'prescribe' outdoor work to patients suffering from a range of mental and physical health issues. The allotment is run by a team of enthusiastic volunteers and boasts a wildlife garden, pond and a wide variety of vegetables and flowers!
